ISAT’s Push Rod Steel Deck Insert (SDI-2) was engineered from the original, patented Blue Banger Hanger and was designed to increase project efficiency for our customers. SDI-2’s are poured prior to pouring concrete, streamlining installation and reducing material costs.
The Push Rod SDI features a revolutionary, patented auto-lock chamber that locks in the threaded rod. Installers will quickly realize the installation efficiency benefits of simply pushing the threaded rod into the Push Rod auto-lock Insert instead of turn threading. Threaded rods include patented engagement markings that confirm full engagement, that eliminate second-guessing and installer error. Similar to the Blue Banger Hanger, Push Rod Hangers reduce inventory because each insert accommodates multiple rod sizes that can be changed after installation.
