Roof Curbs and Isolation Rails are isolation systems designed and engineered to isolate packaged rooftop equipment from the roof structure while providing seismic and wind restraint.
Model KSR – Roof Curb Vibration Isolation Rail
Application:
Model KSR isolation rails are specifically designed and engineered for use as a noise and vibration isolation system for roof curb-mounted mechanical equipment. Typical applications include support and isolation for unitary-packaged air-handling and refrigeration equipment, and exhaust fans, ordinarily mounted directly on non-isolated roof curb systems. KSR isolation rails significantly reduce noise and vibration transmitted from rooftop equipment into roof structures.
Model KSCR – Roof Curb and Vibration Isolation Rail
Application:
Model KSCR: Affordable, easy-to-install, all-in-one roof curb and vibration isolation rail for under 20-ton packaged rooftop units. Kinetics KSCR features internal seismic and wind restraint, accessible and interchangeable springs, supply and return support hardware, and EPDM air- and weather-tight seal. Available in 1- and 2-inch deflection, featuring powder-coated steel springs with 50% overload capacity.
Model ESR – Vibration Isolation Roof Curb and Rail
Application:
Heavy-duty, complete vibration isolation roof curb and rail for over 20-ton packaged rooftop units. Kinetics ESR features high-frequency noise isolation pads, code compliant seismic and wind restraint, and access ports for each isolator to inspect, level, or change springs after equipment placement. Available in 1-, 2-, and 4-inch deflection, featuring powder-coated steel springs with 50% overload capacity.
Model ESSR – Sound and Vibration Isolation Roof Curb
Application:
Model ESSR vibration isolated curb system addresses all noise sources associated with packaged rooftop equipment. Isolation rails installed between the rooftop equipment and the roof curb do an excellent job isolating the vibration from the rooftop equipment to the building structure. Isolation rails alone do not address the problems of duct-borne noise or equipment breakout noise into the conditioned space.
