Purpose/Summary
ISAT Total Support is seeking a dedicated and technically proficient Civil Engineer to join our Pipe Stress Division. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing detailed pipe stress analysis, supporting project teams, and ensuring compliance with industry standards and client requirements. This role requires a strong understanding of mechanical engineering principles, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.
Qualifications
- Bachelorโs degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
- Proven experience in pipe stress analysis and engineering, preferably within a utility or industrial setting.
- Proficiency in industry-standard pipe stress analysis software (e.g., CAESAR II, AutoPIPE).
- Strong knowledge of relevant codes and standards (e.g., ASME, ANSI, API).
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a collaborative team.
- Professional Engineering (PE) license is preferred but not required.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Pipe Stress Analysis: Conduct thorough pipe stress analysis using industry-standard software tools, ensuring designs meet all relevant codes, standards, and specifications.
- Technical Support: Provide expert technical support to project teams, clients, and stakeholders. Address technical queries and resolve issues related to pipe stress and piping systems.
- Design Review: Review and validate piping designs, including isometric drawings, P&IDs, and 3D models. Identify potential design issues and recommend modifications to optimize system performance and safety.
- Documentation: Prepare detailed reports, calculations, and technical documentation related to pipe stress analysis. Ensure the accuracy and completeness of all technical documents.
- Project Coordination: Work closely with project managers and team members to ensure projects are executed efficiently and within deadlines. Monitor project progress and provide regular updates to stakeholders.
- Compliance and Standards: Stay current with industry codes, standards, and best practices related to pipe stress analysis. Ensure all projects comply with applicable regulations and standards.
- Continuous Improvement: Participate in initiatives to improve processes and methodologies within the Pipe Stress Division. Share knowledge and best practices with colleagues to enhance team capabilities.
